About the company
Nexus Minerals Ltd is a well-funded resource company with a portfolio of gold projects in Western Australia, gold-copper & critical minerals in New South Wales and porphyry copper-gold in Bethanga Victoria.
The company is actively exploring for gold deposits on its highly prospective tenement package in the Eastern Goldfields of Western Australia.
How it is doing
Nexus Minerals Ltd has kicked off a 4,000-metre reverse circulation (RC) drill program at its Payns Prospect, part of the Wallbrook Gold Project in Western Australia’s Eastern Goldfields, following encouraging aircore results reported in late 2024 and March 2025.
“Following on from considerable success in prior aircore programs it is very exciting to see RC drilling commence at Payns Prospect,” Nexus managing director Andy Tudor said.
“Previous aircore results have offered an early indication of the considerable opportunity at Payns, which we look forward to building on with the RC rig.
“The prospect is ideally situated, located immediately along strike of major deposits currently being mined by Northern Star Resources.
Nexus Minerals Ltd has ramped up exploration with a 10,000 metre aircore drilling program at its wholly owned Wallbrook Gold Project in Western Australia’s Eastern Goldfields.
The drilling aims to expand its pipeline of near-surface gold targets through systematic regional exploration.
Nexus Minerals Ltd has delivered further encouraging gold assays from its recently completed aircore drilling program, expanding the mineralised footprint at the Wallbrook Gold Project in Western Australia.
The company has now received all results from the regional program, comprising 313 aircore holes for a total of 11,691 metres and is on track to begin its next regional aircore drilling program in mid-April.

What management says
Proactive’s Tylah Tully breaks down ‘Just the Facts’ of the latest news from Nexus Minerals Ltd (ASX:NXM).
The company is advancing its Wallbrook Gold Project in Western Australia’s Goldfields following significant discoveries at the Payns and Godfreys prospects. These findings represent a critical step in enhancing the project’s gold resource inventory and align with the company’s regional exploration strategy to identify and expand shallow gold deposits.
Of 18 high-priority regional targets identified at Wallbrook, seven have undergone initial drilling, with six yielding highly anomalous gold results. Nexus plans to further assess these discoveries alongside other high-priority targets to scale the project’s potential.
